OxyNol Solutions (formerly known as Masada Resource Group, LLC) is a California-based competitive and responsible provider of proven and environmentally friendly waste-to-fuel technology solutions. Masada rebranded itself as OxyNol Solutions in May 2024 due to sustained geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East.

As a private company, OxyNol Solutions' principals have worked with over 300 local government entities to develop extensive infrastructure operations, including environmental services, cable television, telecommunications, and electronic security. Over the past 40 years, Our management teams have built and operated over $1.5 billion USD in assets in 18 U.S. states and seven major cities in the U.K.

Today, OxyNol Solutions has a pipeline of international waste-to-fuel project opportunities in over 40 countries. This pipeline is supported by the clean energy technology owned by Controlled Environmental Systems Corp., an OxyNol Solutions affiliate company. OxyNol Solutions’ core CES OxyNol process converts ordinary household garbage into fuel-grade ethanol using acid hydrolysis.

In partnership with Auburn University's Department of Chemical Engineering, OxyNol Solutions has also developed pulp mill sludge-to-ethanol technology.

OxyNol Solutions’ principals and managers have invested more than $55 million USD to date for the development of patented processes with international protection and for the enhancement of its core process that allows it to serve as a reproducible engineering template.

Patents are renewed, as needed, based upon market conditions and other factors.

OxyNol Solutions also controls the rights to the unique WinGEMS software program, which provides an integrated materials and energy picture of the entire CES OxyNol process adaptable to any site in the world.  WinGEMS shows material inputs and outputs (flow rates, solids and liquid constituents, trace metals, water needs or outputs) at every process step or system.  The company's external design team and independent process engineers estimate that it would take 10 to 15 years to fully recreate the WinGEMS CES OxyNol platform since it is linked to the process development work performed for our predeccessor company at Tennessee Valley Authority and elsewhere. 

WinGEMS is the core of OxyNol Solutions' intellectual property package and represents the full maturity of the company’s process deployment.  OxyNol Solutions believes WinGEMS is more valuable than the patents themselves since it embodies the proprietary "know-how" the company developed over the course of its entire development period, and it represents the economic choices made bu the company to select specific vendors and systems in the design basis based on their unit's performance under scalable conditions. 

OxyNol Solutions has assembled a team of world-class professionals, risk mitigation experts, information technology firms, and vendors for construction, start-up and operation of CES OxyNol facilities. This team forms the cornerstone of our performance assurance program and is also responsible for carrying out the required project development activities necessary to achieve successful commercial operations.
